We all have times in life when it feels like we’re far from God.  At moments like this, it may even feel difficult to hear His voice.  And it can leave us wondering if God cares for us and all the things that touch our lives.  Jesus addresses this very issue, powerfully reminding us that we are deeply valued by God. He cares for us and about everything that touches our lives.

Matthew 10: 29-31 says, “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

GOD CARES ABOUT EVERY DETAIL TOUCHING OUR LIVES

In this verse, Jesus powerfully reminds us that God loves and values us incredibly.  And He is concerned about absolutely everything that touches our lives, right down to the most minuscule detail.

Knowing this should fill us with great hope and comfort when life gets tough and we don’t know which way to turn.  Our God sees us, He loves us, values us and cares deeply about every aspect of our lives.

Let’s allow this to cause us to trust God more deeply, especially in those moments when we may feel distant from God or unsure of the future. Our God loves us and values us tremendously and we can trust Him with all the details of our lives!
