GOD’S GRACE IS SUFFICIENT FOR YOU!

We all go through times in life when we face trials and tribulations. It’s just part of our walk as believers.  However, God never leaves us to face these times on our own.  Moreover, He has given us His grace to sustain and help us overcome.  God’s grace is sufficient for you!

2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

Trials come in many different forms and can feel utterly devastating. At times we may feel like we can’t even hold on anymore. But this is when it’s so critical to remember that we are never alone.  God is with us every step of the way.  We need to stand on this and cling to God.

Then we need to remember that how we respond to trials is critical.  Trials and tribulations will either forge us and strengthen us or break us.

HOW SHOULD I RESPOND TO TRIALS?

When hardship and trials come our way we can either respond in a way that leads to life or death.  If we respond with anger we will ultimately become bitter and this just leads to death.  However, if we choose to respond with faith and receive God’s grace, believing it is sufficient for us, we can ultimately overcome and walk in victory.

Remember that when we lean hard into God’s grace we are inviting His strength and power into our lives and into the situations we’re facing. We’re acknowledging that we’re weak within ourselves and desperately need God’s presence and power to sustain us. It’s actually a position of strength because we’re no longer leaning on ourselves and instead we’re pressing deeply into God’s strength.

Let’s choose to lean hard into God’s grace knowing that it is absolutely more than sufficient for whatever we’re facing.  And as we do this in our hardest, weakest moments we will be empowered with His strength and we will walk in victory!
