A DIVINE REVERSAL

When we look back on our lives we can all see seasons of trauma, hardship and pain that we’ve endured.  And it’s so easy to become trapped in that and allow it to define us and shape our lives.  But we can choose a different path.  We can choose to surrender the hurts and pains of the past to God.  As a result, He will heal these wounds and restore us in ways we cannot even imagine.  And we will experience a divine reversal in our lives.

Genesis 50:20 says,

You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.”

The verse above is found in Genesis with the story of Joseph.  What an incredible story of a divine reversal this is!  We see in the story of Joseph that his brothers sold him into slavery because they were jealous of him.  This led to him living in Egypt as a slave, going to prison after being unjustly accused of a crime he didn’t commit but ultimately becoming second in command of Egypt.  God positioned Joseph and used him in an incredible way to save people (including his family) through the famine. What an incredible triumph and victory after all he had endured!

GOD CAN COMPLETELY REVERSE OUR HARDEST SEASONS OF HURT AND PAIN

What an incredible work God did in Joseph’s life.  He completely reversed his seasons of hardship and suffering and ultimately placed him as second in command of Egypt to save people during the famine.

The same is true for each of our lives.  Every bit of hardship and pain we have suffered is never wasted if only we will give it to God and trust Him to work it together for our good.  God never ever wastes even one drop of pain.  He will use it for our good if only we will surrender it to Him and trust Him.  And ultimately He is able to reverse the evil and pain the Devil has planned for us and do the most incredible things in our lives.

Will you give your hardships and pain to God today and trust Him for a divine reversal of this in your own life?
