As children of God, we have the comfort of knowing that we can speak to God anytime.  This is truly an amazing privilege! Life is full of twists and turns; we often don’t know which way to turn or what to do.  What a comfort it is knowing that we can call out to God anytime, anywhere and that our God hears our every prayer.  

Isaiah 30:19 says, “How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.”

When tough times come the most important thing we must remember is to position ourselves correctly.  We have a choice whenever we face hardship. We can become fearful and afraid which ultimately just leads to stress. Or we can immediately turn to God through prayer and seek His face and be filled with His peace. There’s always a choice and we need to choose wisely. And above all, we need to remember that we have the assurance that as we cry out for help, God hears and answers us.  

So let’s stand firm in faith fully clothed in our armour each day.  Let’s stand with hearts full of faith and trust as we seek God’s face through prayer everyday.  And always remember that one of our most effective weapons is prayer.  As we pray we invite God to come with His power and move on our behalf in every situation we’re facing.  What an incredible truth this is and one we should stand on.
