As children of God, we have the most indescribable privilege of knowing that we can call out to Him 24/7 anytime, anywhere.  Our God is powerful beyond measure and utterly incomparable to anything or anyone.   He is more than able to help no matter what we face.  Therefore it’s truly mind-blowing that we can approach the throne of grace without restriction.

Hebrews 4:16 says, “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”  

This is such a powerful verse because it reminds us that God is our ever-present help in every single situation that we face.  He is there with His mercy and grace to help us at all times.  But how do we respond when tough times come?  Do we rush to the throne of grace straight away to receive God’s mercy and grace or do we fix our eyes on the situation and walk in fear and defeat?

The simple truth is that we have free access to God’s throne of grace day or night.  We have unlimited, unrestricted access to God and His help.   But we need to position ourselves before His throne to receive His help. 

Today I encourage each one of us to make it our focus that as soon as troubles come we run to the throne of Grace to freely receive God’s mercy and grace for what we’re facing.  Our God is powerful beyond measure and can move mountains if we will just turn to Him and trust Him to move in our lives!
