1. Is Satellite Bible School accredited?
Yes, Satellite Bible School is accredited. It is accredited with Village Schools of The Bible, USA.
2. Will I receive a degree or diploma at the end of the course?
There are 2 options for accreditation. We offer a 1-year Certificate if you complete the course without submitting assignments. You will receive a diploma If you complete the 2-year course and submit and pass your assignments.
3. Will I be a registered Pastor at the end of my course?
No, you will not be a registered Pastor at the end of your course. Satellite Bible School will equip and train you in your study of the Bible. However, you will not be a registered Pastor at the end of the course.
If you want to be registered as a Pastor, you will need to do this through your own church if it is registered with the Government.
4. What denomination is Satellite Bible School?
Satellite Bible School is an NGO (Non-governmental organisation). It is a non-denominational Theological Institution that accepts students from various denominations.
5. What qualification do I need to study at Satellite Bible School?
A Grade 12 (Matric) or any level equivalent to Grade 12 is the minimum qualification required to study at Satellite Bible School.
6. How old must I be to study at Satellite Bible School?
You can study with us from age 18 onwards. You are never too old to study at the Satellite Bible School!
7. What courses are offered?
There are 2 courses available at Satellite Bible School.
We offer a 1-Year certificate that covers
- Systematic Theology
- Old Testament Survey (1)
- New Testament Survey (1)
We offer a 2-Year Diploma that covers
- Old Testament Survey (2)
- New Testament Survey (2)
- Leadership Development
- Evangelism and Missions
- Church Ministry
8. What is the duration of the courses offered?
The duration of the Certificate course is 1 year. The duration of the Diploma course is 2 years. You will receive your diploma upon successfully submitting and passing all the assignments plus the final project covering both the Old and New Testaments.
9. What is the price of the course/courses?
The price is R1200 per year.
10. How do I apply to Satellite Bible School?
You can apply online on this website by filling in the registration form.
11. What materials will I need?
- You will need to have a phone or laptop to write your assignments
- You will need to buy the Old Testament workbook which costs R290
- You will need to buy the New Testament workbook which costs R290
12. Can I pay my fees in instalments?
Yes, you can pay your fees in instalments. The minimum amount payable is R200 per month.
13. Are there exams or any assessments?
Yes, there are exams for the diploma course to test your level of aptitude.
14. Will I receive a certificate when I graduate?
Yes, you will receive a Certificate of completion for completing the 1-year course. You will receive a Diploma for successfully completing the 2-year Diploma course.
