If you are a child of God then you should be very familiar with the words of Matthew 28:18-20 “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” This is the call of every believer in this final hour as we await the second coming of Jesus.
We are living in the end times now beyond a doubt. But it’s deeply alarming seeing on social media how many Christians have fallen into a state of lethargy. At a time when it’s more crucial than ever before to be reaching the lost it seems so many in the church have fallen asleep and are no longer concerned about fulfilling the great commission.
We cannot miss the significance of this hour. The second coming of Christ is imminent and time is running so short now. We need to keep a sharp focus as never before on training ourselves in the Word and sharing the gospel.
These final words of the great commission should resound in our hearts daily. These words need to drive us daily. Let us study the Word and take the gospel to the lost with fervour.
Time is running short and we need to be more focused on this mandate now than ever before! Remember, you can’t take anything with you to Heaven except other people! Let’s reach out to this lost and dying world every day in every way possible.
Now that we’ve looked at the call of every believer prayerfully consider the following question –
Will you answer the call of Jesus to reach the lost?

AMAZING GRACE

I listened to a message recently about how we shouldn’t swear as Christians. What the speaker was saying was 100% true. Indeed, foul and coarse language shouldn’t be part of how we speak as Christians. But what really struck me was the focus she brought. She laid a strong emphasis on how we need to…

GOD IS OUR DELIVERER

As Christians, we know that we are engaged in a spiritual war against the Devil. This is because when we were born again, God transferred us from the kingdom of darkness to His Kingdom of light. As a result, we are now enemies of the Devil. But, we have the incredible promise and assurance that…

A LIFE SURRENDERED

We live in a world that tells us to put ourselves first. We’re encouraged to focus on our own wants and desires. Yet, when we listen to God’s voice, we hear a completely different message. It’s all about living a life surrendered to God. Luke 6:46 says, “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and…

HE KNOWS MY NAME

One of the most amazing truths of our faith is that our God is a personal God. He loves us deeply. He knows us completely. Every part of our lives is important to Him and we can entrust everything that touches our lives to Him. What a joy to know that he knows my name!…

RELY ON GOD

When we become Christians, we start a brand new life in Christ. And it’s important to realise that God has given each one of us a purpose. There are good works that He has prepared for us to do. The key to this, however, is to realise that we must rely on God! Ephesians 2:10…
